Landal Kielder Waterside is located aside England’s largest artificial reservoir. Around this runs a 42km long hiking trail, perfect for guests looking to explore nature whilst staying on the resort. The trail holds numerous works of art and sculptures that represent the harmony with nature The kids can discover the aquatic wildlife which resides at Landal Kielder Waterside and improve knowledge of animals, insects and amphibians.
Dark Skies
The sky above Kielder is one of the darkest skies in the world. And therefore even has an official 'Dark Skies' status. Specifically greatly visible from the nearby Kielder Observatory. With a bit of luck you can even see the Northern Lights!

There is loads to do both on and off the resort at Landal Kielder Waterside. Whilst onsite, get involved with some of the activities on offer which include, archery, frisbee, table tennis and fencing or visit the indoor heated swimming pool and spa. The swimming facilities also include activities such as snorkeling and giant inflatable balls. If you are looking for a more relaxing activity, why not stop by the spa for a massage of facial treatment.
