Ladybower Reservoir
Situated in the Upper Derwent Valley this area is surrounded by magnificent countryside. Next to the high moors you can cycle, run or walk around this stunning setting. Bikes can be hired from the information centre at Fairholmes.
Mam Tor
A scheduled monument in the Peak District National Park, towering Mam Tor is the starting point for many walking routes. A National Trust car park is conveniently located at the bottom of the mountain, so why not walk to the top and see the amazing views across Edale towards Kinder Scout? You won’t regret it!
Heights of Abraham
Explore underground caverns, discover the area’s mining heritage, run wild in the adventure playground, and take a cable car up Masson Hill to enjoy stunning views across the Derwent Valley at this popular local attraction. Dogs are welcome too!
